Katrin Colamarino Career Change Expert/Consultant Conference Topic Katrin Colamarino, formerly a corporate lawyer in New York City, owns Nicholas Consulting Company. She specializes in Fundraising, Strategic Planning and Publicity for Nonprofits. Katrin earned her BA degree from Vassar College, and her law degree from the University of Richmond Law School. She worked as a Vice President/Assistant General Counsel for Citibank, and later for JP Morgan Chase Bank where she supervised technology contracting transactions trained lawyers and paralegals to provide bank clients with high quality technology contracts , and to protect the bank’s intellectual property interests. After she moved to the Central Coast in 2005, Katrin earned a Nonprofit Development Officer Certificate from California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly), and transitioned her networking, communication, public speaking and business writing skillsets into her consultancy for nonprofits. She services nonprofit clients in California, Pennsylvania, New York and Jerusalem, Israel. Katrin is an expert at career transition for women based on her experiences and background. In San Luis Obispo County she has been President of Templeton Rotary Club in 2006-07, has served on the Board of Directors of the Atascadero Performing Arts Center Committee, and as Publicity Chair on the Advisory Board of the Cuesta Master Chorale. She is currently Vice President and Chair of the Development Committee of the Board of Directors of Opera San Luis Obispo. |
